Where It's Used
This adapter is commonly used to connect flexible hose to threaded ports on water pumps, fuel tanks, seacocks, holding tanks, and engine cooling circuits. The 1/2" NPT male thread seals into a female-threaded port, while the 1/2" barb grips the inside of the hose for a secure, clamp-ready connection.
