When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace the filler kit if the hose is cracked, hardened, leaking, kinked, contaminated, or if the threaded fittings no longer seal properly at the helm or fluid bottle. A damaged filler kit can introduce air, leak fluid, or make steering purge service messy and unreliable.
Installation Notes
Pre-fill the helm as required, attach the filler kit to the hydraulic steering fluid bottle, thread the hose into the helm fill port, and vent the bottle with the supplied push pin to start fluid flow. Follow the steering-system bleed procedure carefully and keep the bottle supplied with fluid so air is not drawn into the helm during service.
