When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace the buoyancy aid if the foam is compressed, the neoprene shell is torn, the zipper is damaged, the webbing or fasteners are worn, reflective tape is peeling, stitching is failing, or the vest no longer fits securely. Safety gear should also be replaced after heavy wear, prolonged UV exposure, or any condition that may affect buoyancy or fit.
Installation Notes
Put the vest on using the front zipper, then tighten the two webbing fasteners so the buoyancy aid sits snugly without restricting movement. Confirm the shoulder area, waist fit, and overall ride-up resistance before entering the water. Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use, dry fully before storage, and keep away from fuel, solvents, sharp edges, and prolonged direct sun when not in use.
