The Green Line G382-025 Premium Silicone Heater Hose is a high-temperature silicone coolant hose designed for low-pressure coolant, heater, and circulation-line applications. The "-025" size identifies this hose as 1/4 in. inside diameter, making it useful for compact coolant routing, engine heater lines, bypass lines, small auxiliary coolant circuits, and equipment service applications where silicone hose is specified.
Silicone heater hose offers strong resistance to heat, ozone, aging, hardening, and cracking compared with standard rubber hose, making it a good choice for demanding engine rooms, fleet equipment, industrial systems, and marine service areas where coolant hose flexibility and long service life matter.
Key Features
- Green Line premium silicone heater hose.

Application Compatibility
Common application context includes low-pressure coolant and heater hose routing where 1/4 in. ID silicone heater hose is required, including:
- Marine engine coolant and heater-line service where silicone hose is suitable.
- Engine room auxiliary coolant circuits.
- Commercial fleet and transit equipment heater systems.
- Industrial coolant and antifreeze circulation lines.
- Generator and equipment cooling systems.
- Small bypass, return, and service hose runs using 1/4 in. ID hose.
- Applications requiring a flexible, heat-resistant hose that remains stable under vibration and temperature cycling.
Use this hose only where the fluid, pressure, temperature, routing, clamp style, and hose-size requirement match the installation.
Fitment Notice
Confirm compatibility by hose inside diameter, coolant type, operating temperature, pressure, bend radius, routing path, and clamp requirement before ordering. This hose is intended for coolant and heater service, not for every fluid-transfer application.
Do not use silicone heater hose for direct fuel transfer, engine oil, hydraulic oil, petroleum-based fluids, or continuous oil/fuel immersion unless the system manufacturer specifically approves that hose material. Petroleum exposure can degrade silicone hose over time.
When This Product Needs Replacement
Replace heater hose if it is swollen, softened, oil-contaminated, cracked, cut, abraded, kinked, heat-damaged, leaking, or hardened from age. Replacement is also recommended when clamps have cut into the hose jacket, when coolant residue appears at hose ends, or during major cooling-system service where hose condition is uncertain.
Installation Notes
Cut the hose squarely with a clean blade and route it away from sharp brackets, belts, pulleys, exhaust heat, and moving engine components. Avoid tight bends that flatten or kink the hose. Use properly sized smooth-band or silicone-safe clamps.
Do not use standard perforated worm clamps or wire clamps on silicone hose if they can cut into the soft outer cover. For this size, an extended-tang style clamp such as Green Line G7ET Series is commonly recommended to protect the silicone jacket. Supplied torque reference: 30–40 in-lb. Recheck clamp tension after the system has heat-cycled.

Parts Desk Insight
Silicone heater hose works best when it is paired with the right clamps. The hose material handles heat and aging well, but it can be damaged by sharp clamp slots, over-tightening, abrasion, or petroleum exposure. For a clean installation, match the hose by inside diameter, keep it away from sharp edges and exhaust heat, and use silicone-safe clamps tightened to the proper range.
