These adhesive-lined heat shrink ring terminals combine an 8 AWG tinned copper crimp barrel with a dual-wall heat shrink sleeve — delivering a watertight termination at 1/4" studs for high-current circuits including bilge pumps, windlasses, solenoids, and heavy accessory feeds routed to distribution panels.

Both use the same 8 AWG wire gauge — choose based on the stud size at your termination point. Measure the stud diameter or check the terminal block spec before ordering.
Installation Notes
Strip 8 AWG wire to the correct length so the conductor fills the barrel without protruding. Use a heavy-duty ratcheting crimper rated for 8 AWG — light-duty crimpers will not produce a reliable gas-tight crimp at this gauge. Apply heat evenly with a heat gun until the sleeve shrinks uniformly and adhesive flows from both ends. Allow to cool fully before torquing the stud nut to the terminal block manufacturer's specification. Do not use an open flame — it damages the sleeve and conductor insulation.
