Always verify the stud size on your terminal block or component before ordering. The #8 stud is the smallest in this range — do not use where a larger stud size is specified.
Installation Notes
Strip wire to the correct length so the conductor fills the barrel without extending beyond it. Use a ratcheting crimper for consistent, gas-tight crimps — avoid plier-style crimpers. Torque the terminal strip screw to the manufacturer's specification. Support the wire within 6" of the terminal to reduce flex fatigue. Inspect terminals annually for corrosion or loosening and replace as needed.
