Propeller fitment should always be confirmed by Yamaha engine model, gearcase, current propeller size, operating RPM range, and boat load. Diameter and pitch must match the application to achieve proper engine performance.
When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace the propeller if blades are bent, cracked, heavily worn, cupped unevenly, or if the current propeller no longer allows the engine to reach the correct wide-open-throttle RPM range.
Installation Notes
Inspect the prop shaft, thrust washer, spacer, cotter pin, and retaining hardware during installation. Always torque hardware to Yamaha specifications and confirm clearance before running the engine.
