Designed for sailboats with wheel steering, this package includes every component needed for a full installation: sensor core, actuator control unit, sail-optimized control head, wheel drive, and a complete SeaTalkⁿ cabling kit.

- Sail vs. Power variant — the control head is the key difference: The Sail version includes the p70s control head with wind-vane (apparent wind) mode, which is essential for efficient upwind and downwind sailing. The Power version uses the P70R rotary head without wind-vane functionality. Confirm the customer’s vessel type before ordering.
- Displacement rating matters: The included wheel drive is rated to 7,500 kg (16,500 lb) maximum laden displacement. Customers with heavier vessels should verify their boat’s displacement before purchasing — a higher-rated drive unit may be required.
- SeaTalkⁿ integration unlocks GPS route following: When connected to a Raymarine chartplotter or MFD via SeaTalkⁿ, the EV-100 can follow waypoints and routes automatically. In standalone mode, it operates as a heading-hold pilot only.
