The Scotty Seeker Stainless Steel Leader is a purpose-built 12-inch leader designed to position a downrigger probe at a fixed, consistent distance from the trolling weight. Constructed from 135 lb test stainless steel, it provides the strength and corrosion resistance needed for repeated use in both freshwater and saltwater trolling environments.
By separating the probe from the cannonball, the Seeker leader ensures that temperature and speed readings are captured in undisturbed water ahead of the weight, giving you accurate data at the trolling depth rather than readings affected by turbulence directly behind the ball.
