Ancor 311425 heat shrink ring terminals are marine-grade electrical terminals for 16–14 AWG wire with a 1/4" stud size. These blue ring terminals use adhesive-lined heat shrink insulation to help seal the crimped connection against moisture, salt water, oil, fuel, and other marine contaminants while adding strain relief at the wire connection. Each package includes 25 terminals for marine wiring, helm, battery, panel, and accessory installations where a secure ring terminal connection is required.

When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace ring terminals when they are corroded, loose, overheated, cracked, poorly crimped, exposed to moisture intrusion, or no longer holding the wire securely. Terminals should also be replaced during wiring repairs when the old connection shows green corrosion, broken strands, heat damage, or weak continuity.
Installation Notes
Strip the wire to the correct length, insert it fully into the terminal barrel, and crimp with a proper marine-grade crimping tool. Apply controlled heat evenly to shrink the tubing until the adhesive flows and seals around the wire insulation. Avoid overheating the sleeve, and always support the wire so the terminal is not carrying unnecessary strain.
