The Ancor 554010 is a marine-grade DPST sealed rocker switch designed for wet, vibration-prone boat electrical environments. Its Double Pole, Single Throw configuration allows one rocker action to switch two independent circuits on or off at the same time, making it useful for marine electrical panels, accessory control circuits, paired loads, and custom helm wiring where two circuits need to operate together.
This switch is built for harsh marine conditions with sealed construction, quick-connect blade terminals, and a modular actuator design for panel customization.
Key Features
- Marine-grade sealed rocker switch.
- Ancor part number: 554010.
- Commercial shorthand: ANC 554010.
- Switch type: DPST / Double Pole, Single Throw.
- Operation: ON-OFF.
- Controls two separate circuits with one rocker action.
- Electrical rating: 20A at 12V DC.
- Electrical rating: 15A at 125V AC.
- Electrical rating: 10A at 250V AC.
- Sealed design for marine dashboard, cockpit, and equipment-panel use.
- Listed environmental protection: IP66 / IP67.
- Listed as UL ignition protected for suitable marine electrical applications.
- Uses standard 1/4 in. quick-connect blade terminals.
- Modular actuator face can be changed for panel layout, icon, or color matching.
Product Compatibility
Common use cases include marine electrical panels and accessory circuits where a sealed DPST ON-OFF switch is required, such as:
- Dual-circuit accessory switching.
- Paired marine lighting circuits.
- Bilge or equipment-panel control where two circuits must switch together.
- Helm, console, cockpit, and protected exterior panel installations.
- Custom DC electrical panels using 1/4 in. quick-connect terminals.
- Marine applications requiring a sealed rocker switch body with changeable actuator styling.
Use this switch only where the circuit rating, terminal layout, panel cutout, wiring diagram, and load requirements match the installation.
Fitment Notice
Confirm compatibility by circuit type, amperage draw, voltage, panel opening, terminal configuration, actuator style, wiring diagram, and ignition-protection requirement before ordering. A DPST switch is not the same as SPST, SPDT, DPDT, or momentary rocker switches. Match the switch function to the electrical circuit before installation.
When This Product Needs Replacement
Replace the switch if the rocker action becomes loose, sticky, intermittent, or fails to hold the ON/OFF position. Replacement is also recommended if terminals are corroded, the switch body is cracked, the seal is damaged, the actuator is broken, or the controlled circuit works intermittently after wiring and load issues have been ruled out.
Installation Notes
Disconnect power before installation. Use properly sized marine-grade wire, crimp terminals, heat-shrink insulation, and over-current protection appropriate for the circuit. Confirm terminal orientation before connecting wires, especially when switching two independent circuits through a DPST layout.
Do not exceed the switch's rated amperage. High-load accessories should be controlled through a properly rated relay or breaker-controlled circuit when required. After installation, test both switched circuits for correct ON/OFF operation before returning the panel to service.

Parts Desk Insight
The key detail on this switch is the DPST circuit layout. It is meant to switch two circuits at the same time, not to reverse polarity, provide momentary control, or route one circuit between two outputs. For clean marine panel work, match the terminal layout first, then choose the actuator face and mounting bracket style that fit the helm or switch panel.
