The CMT-EZ1 is a zinc engine anode with 3/8" UNC thread, designed to protect internal engine cooling passages and components from galvanic corrosion. Installed directly into the engine block or heat exchanger, it acts as a sacrificial metal to prevent corrosion damage to critical internal parts.
Zinc is the preferred material for raw water cooling systems in saltwater environments, providing reliable and predictable corrosion protection.
