The CMT-EZ2 is a zinc pencil engine anode (E-2 type) with 7/16"-14 UNC thread, designed to protect internal engine cooling passages from galvanic corrosion. Installed in heat exchangers, engine blocks, or cooling jackets, it sacrifices itself to prevent corrosion damage to critical components.
This version is the anode rod only (no brass plug) and is commonly used as a direct replacement inside existing plug housings.
