Parts Desk Insights
Best Use Case: Best used to manage two battery banks on boats or similar vehicles, allowing quick switching between Battery One, Battery Two, or both in parallel, or turning the system off. The field disconnect enables charging while the engine runs.
Common Issues: Wiring errors can cause cross-connection between banks; ensure correct assignment of Battery One/Two and parallel connections. Verify system voltage remains within 6–32 V DC and that load does not exceed the rated amperage. Loose terminals or improper mounting can cause poor contact or switch wear.
