The Richter is one of the most capable all-around anchors available for recreational boaters. It combines three time-tested anchor technologies into a single design: the holding weight of a river anchor, the bottom-penetrating ability of a grapnel, and the easy retrieval of a slip-ring anchor. The result is an anchor that sets quickly, holds firmly across a wide range of bottom types, and releases cleanly even when buried or snagged.
The patented release mechanism lets you break the anchor free with a simple upward pull — no wrestling with a stuck fluke or cutting your rode. At 25 lbs, this is the heavy-duty Richter, rated for boats up to 32 feet.
