This complete magnesium anode kit is designed specifically for Mercruiser Bravo One stern drives from 1988 and newer, used in freshwater environments. It provides full corrosion protection across all anode positions on the drive, replacing every sacrificial anode in one convenient kit.
All components are cadmium-free and conform to Mil-Spec A-21412(SH). Magnesium anodes are the correct choice for freshwater use — they are more electrochemically active than aluminum or zinc in low-conductivity freshwater, providing effective galvanic protection where other anode materials may be too passive to work properly.
