This magnesium Seachoice Mercury Verado 4 Anode Kit provides a Mercury Verado 4 4-cylinder outboard with excellent corrosion protection and is designed for use in fresh water. These cadmium-free and environmentally-friendly components conform to Mil-Spec A-21412SH.

This kit is the correct magnesium (fresh water) option for Mercury Verado 4-cylinder applications. Magnesium anodes are required for fresh water use — do not substitute zinc (salt water) or aluminum (brackish) anodes in fresh water environments, as they will not activate properly. Verify your cylinder count before ordering: the 4-cylinder kit (this item, SKU 50-95111) differs from the Mercury Verado 6-Cylinder Magnesium Anode Kit. All screws included are 18-8/304 stainless — the listing previously showed a duplicate screw entry which has been corrected.
