The stainless steel Bearing Buddy takes the proven pressurized bearing protection system and upgrades the barrel to marine-grade stainless steel — the right choice for saltwater environments where chrome plating eventually breaks down. This model fits hubs with a 2.448" bore diameter and maintains positive grease pressure inside the hub cavity, actively blocking water, salt, and contaminants from reaching your bearings even after repeated submersion. A 2-pack covers both wheels on a single axle.

Chrome plating provides good corrosion resistance in freshwater, but stainless steel holds up significantly longer in coastal and tidal environments where pitting and rust are a real concern.
