PCM / Crusader Exhaust Manifold-to-Cylinder Head Gasket RM0276
Product Description
The PCM / Crusader RM0276 Exhaust Manifold-to-Cylinder Head Gasket is a genuine-style OEM replacement gasket for compatible GM-based 6.0L marine inboard engines. It seals the mounting surface between the engine cylinder head and the main exhaust manifold body, helping prevent exhaust leaks, water intrusion risk, and loss of proper exhaust sealing at the manifold flange.
This is not the riser or exhaust elbow gasket. For the gasket between the exhaust manifold and upper riser / exhaust elbow on these engines, verify whether the correct part is RM0274 instead.
Key Features
- PCM / Crusader exhaust manifold gasket.
- Part number: RM0276.
- Component type: exhaust manifold-to-cylinder head gasket.
- Designed for compatible GM-based 6.0L LS-style marine inboard engines.
- Seals the cylinder head to main exhaust manifold mounting surface.
- Heavy-duty high-temperature multi-layer metal construction reference.
- Built for marine exhaust heat, pressure, and thermal expansion.
- Sold individually.
- Two gaskets are typically required for a complete V8 engine service.
Engine Compatibility
Common application context includes 2004 and newer GM-based 6.0L marine inboard engines where RM0276 is specified, including:
- PCM ZR6 applications where listed.
- PCM ZR409 applications where listed.
- PCM CESS 6.0L applications where listed.
- Crusader 6.0L MPI inboard applications where listed.
- Compatible ski boat, towboat, Nautique, and inboard cruiser installations using PCM / Crusader 6.0L exhaust manifold assemblies.
Use this gasket only where the engine model, serial number, exhaust manifold design, and parts manual confirm RM0276.
Fitment Notice
Confirm the gasket location before ordering. RM0276 seals the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head. It does not seal the riser, elbow, spacer, or upper exhaust joint.
For the manifold-to-riser / exhaust elbow gasket on compatible 6.0L PCM or Crusader engines, verify RM0274 by engine serial number and exhaust layout.
When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace this gasket whenever the exhaust manifold is removed from the cylinder head, during manifold replacement, after exhaust leak diagnosis, or when the gasket shows heat damage, compression loss, corrosion, cracking, or sealing failure.
Common symptoms of a leaking manifold-to-head gasket may include ticking exhaust noise, soot staining near the manifold flange, exhaust odor in the engine compartment, reduced sealing at the manifold, or visible gasket damage during inspection.
Installation Notes
Allow the engine to cool completely before exhaust service. Remove the exhaust manifold according to the PCM or Crusader service procedure, then clean the cylinder head and manifold sealing surfaces carefully without gouging the metal.
Install the gasket in the correct orientation and use the specified fasteners, torque sequence, and torque value from the service manual. Recheck related exhaust components, hoses, clamps, riser gaskets, and manifold condition before returning the engine to service.

Parts Desk Insight
The key detail is gasket location. RM0276 is the cylinder head-to-manifold gasket, while RM0274 is the related riser / elbow gasket reference for the upper exhaust joint. On a V8, plan for two RM0276 gaskets if both manifolds are being removed, and always verify the engine serial number before ordering exhaust hardware.
