When 100 feet isn't enough, the Seachoice 1/2 in. x 200 ft. 3-Strand Twisted Nylon Anchor Line gives you the scope to anchor properly in deeper water, tidal areas, or exposed anchorages where a 5:1 or 7:1 scope ratio demands more line. At 1/2 in. diameter and 200 ft., this is a capable primary rode for mid-size to larger cruisers, trawlers, and sportfishers.
Three-strand twisted nylon is the right construction for anchor rodes — it stretches under load to absorb the shock of wave action and wind gusts, reducing stress on your cleats, windlass, and anchor hardware. The integrated blue tracer runs the full length of the line, giving you a quick visual check for wear, UV damage, or chafe without having to pull the whole rode out of the locker.
A pre-installed galvanized steel thimble at the anchor end lets you shackle directly to your chain or anchor. The white nylon construction resists UV, salt, and abrasion, and floats clear of running gear.
