The Mercury Quicksilver 863829 (also listed as 35-863829) is a genuine OEM Idle Air Control (IAC) filter / muffler used on many MerCruiser MPI engines. It installs on the Idle Air Control valve and acts as a small intake filter and noise muffler for the air entering the IAC system.
