The Hustler® 14x11 4-blade is a high-performance aluminum propeller built for boaters who need the acceleration, stern lift, and rough-water stability of a 4-blade design — without giving up the top-end speed of a 3-blade prop. Its swept cleaver blade geometry delivers exceptional hole shot, confident handling in chop, and strong load-carrying capability, making it one of the most versatile aluminum props available for 40–150hp applications.

Engineered for outboards and sterndrives with 4.25" gearcases. Compatible with Evinrude®, Honda®, Johnson®, Mariner®, Mercury®, MerCruiser®, Nissan®, OMC®, Parsun®, Suzuki®, Tohatsu®, and Yamaha®. Requires a 500-series hub installation kit (sold separately).

Best Use Case: The Hustler® 14x11 4-blade is the go-to recommendation for customers running 40–150hp outboards or sterndrives on applications that demand better acceleration, stern lift, or rough-water handling than a 3-blade prop provides. It’s ideally suited for watersports boats (wakeboarding, waterskiing), tri-toons, bay boats, sterndrive applications, and any vessel that regularly runs with a full load of passengers and gear. If the customer is running light on a calm lake and pure top-end speed is the priority, the Hustler® 14x11 3-blade is the better fit.

3-Blade vs. 4-Blade: The 4-blade shines when the boat is loaded or when the customer wants better steering feel and stability in chop. The 3-blade is faster on a lightly loaded hull in flat water. When a customer is on the fence, ask about their typical load and water conditions — that usually makes the choice clear. Note that 4-blade props typically load the engine slightly more than a 3-blade at the same pitch — the customer may need to drop 1" of pitch when switching from a 3-blade to a 4-blade.

Aluminum vs. Stainless: For customers who want maximum performance from this gearcase, the Express® Mach4 stainless steel line is the natural upgrade path. The Hustler® 4-blade runs within 0.5–1 mph of the equivalent SS design in most conditions.

Hub Kit Required: This propeller uses the 500-series hub system only. Always confirm the customer’s engine make, model, and year before recommending a hub kit — the 503, 504, and 505 all cover this gearcase range but are engine-specific. Verify against the application chart.
