Hustler 3-Blade Aluminum Propeller – 13.25" x 17" | Right Hand Rotation
The Hustler 3-blade aluminum propeller is built for boaters who want maximum top-end speed and strong bow lift from an aluminum prop. Using the same blade geometry as Turning Point’s stainless steel designs, it resists flex under load — delivering performance that closes the gap with stainless at a fraction of the price. Designed for 40–150 hp engines with 4.25" gearcases.
Key Features
- Stainless steel geometry in aluminum — Blade profiles are drawn from the same stainless steel designs, giving this prop a performance edge over standard die-cast aluminum propellers.
- Squeeze cast construction — High-density casting produces stiffer blades with less flex, improving propulsive efficiency and fuel economy compared to conventional die-cast aluminum props.
- Tuned exhaust vents — Free-flowing exhaust ports reduce backpressure and water density around the blades at acceleration, improving hole shot and horsepower delivery.
- Ultracoat™ five-step powder coat finish — Superior corrosion and abrasion resistance compared to standard painted finishes. Keeps the prop looking sharp season after season.
- Wide engine compatibility — Fits Evinrude®, Honda®, Johnson®, Mariner®, Mercury®, MerCruiser®, Nissan®, OMC®, Parsun®, Suzuki®, Tohatsu®, and Yamaha® outboards and sterndrives.

3-Blade vs. 4-Blade
The 3-blade Hustler is the better choice when top-end speed and bow lift are the priority — especially on pontoons and lightly loaded runabouts. If your application involves heavier loads, watersports, or rough water, consider the same-pitch Hustler 4-Blade 13.25" x 17" for improved acceleration and stern lift.
Parts Desk Insights
Best use case: Recommend this prop when a customer wants the best top-end speed from an aluminum prop on a lightly to moderately loaded boat — runabouts, bass boats, and pontoons are ideal applications. The 3-blade design outperforms 4-blade props in pure top-end scenarios and is particularly well-suited to pontoons where blade count and diameter matter more than stern lift. If the customer regularly runs with a full load of passengers and gear, or does watersports towing, steer them toward the 4-blade version at the same pitch for better acceleration and load-carrying performance. Always confirm engine make, model, year, and gearcase size before recommending a hub kit number.
