Its all-white housing, 316 marine-grade stainless steel telescopic boom and stainless steel spool provide enhanced corrosion resistance, while the bright 3.5-inch full-colour LCD displays depth, trolling information, sonar data and customizable operating views.
Optimum intelligence helps keep your presentation in the strike zone through Depth Cycling, Bottom Tracking, stored preset depths, Auto Up and Waterline Zero. Up to four Optimum downriggers can be wirelessly networked and controlled through the Cannon mobile app or a compatible Humminbird fish finder. Fish Hawk X4D and Lithium Ultra integration can also display the true depth, temperature and speed at the trolling weight.

Intended Use

The Optimum TS is particularly well suited to salmon, lake trout and other species that require controlled-depth presentations, bottom-following capability or repeated movement through a defined strike zone.

When to Upgrade or Replace
Consider replacing or professionally servicing the downrigger if the motor no longer deploys or retrieves smoothly, the depth counter becomes unreliable, the cable or spool is damaged, electrical connections show corrosion, or the housing and mounting system have sustained impact damage.
Inspect the stainless steel cable, line terminator, releases, boom, swivel base and electrical connections regularly. Frayed, kinked or damaged cable and worn line releases should be replaced before the next trip rather than operated under load.
Installation Notes
Install the downrigger on a solid, level and properly reinforced mounting surface. The included low-profile swivel base allows the unit to rotate for fishing, docking and storage positions, but sufficient clearance must be maintained around the boom, cable and weight.
Follow Cannon's installation instructions for electrical connections, mounting hardware and cable routing. After installation, configure Waterline Zero before normal use so the system stops the weight at the desired position below the surface. Network functions should be paired and tested with connected downriggers, the Cannon app, compatible Humminbird electronics or Fish Hawk equipment before heading offshore.
