Short Track Section for Single-Position and Gap-Fill Installations
The Rod Boss TR18 is an 18 in. section of the standard 3 in. grooved track system — a short, precise length ideal for single rod holder placements, tight mounting spots, or filling gaps between longer track sections. Once mounted, the grooved track lets you slide and position any Rod Boss rod holder, tool holder, or accessory anywhere along its length without fixed drilling or permanent placement.
Installation is straightforward: place the track where you want it, drill through the mounting holes, and fasten it down. Designed by a USCG-licensed charter captain and manufactured in the USA from anodized aluminum.

The 18 in. track is best suited for single-position installations or gap fills — it's long enough for one rod holder with a bit of adjustment range, but not much more. If you need 2–3 positions, the TR24 24 in. or TR36 36 in. are better fits. For even shorter fills or end caps, the TR12 12 in. or TR6 6 in. work well. The full track range also includes 48 in., 60 in., and 72 in. sections for longer runs. End caps are required to finish the track ends and are sold separately — order them alongside the track.
