The Scotty 440BK8 Low Profile 8" Track gives you twice the mounting real estate of the 4" version while keeping the same ultra-slim, corrosion-proof profile that makes the Scotty track system a favourite on fishing boats, kayaks, and pontoons. Whether you're running two rod holders side by side or mixing rod holders with accessories, the 8" length gives you the flexibility to space things exactly where you want them.

Best Use Case: The 8" track is the sweet spot for most gunwale and transom installs where you want two rod holder positions or one rod holder plus a tool/accessory holder. It's the most popular track length for aluminum fishing boats and pontoons where you have a straight run of rail to work with. If you're outfitting a kayak with limited deck space, the 4" track may be a better fit.
Compatibility Note: The Scotty 438 Gear-Head Track Adapter is required to connect rod holders and accessories to this track and is sold separately. Confirm your rod holder uses a Gear-Head post before ordering.
