Replace the fuel pump if the engine is experiencing fuel starvation, hard starting, stalling under load, inconsistent fuel delivery, weak pump output, or pump failure after confirming the issue is not caused by clogged filters, restricted lines, tank venting, contaminated fuel, or electrical supply problems.

Install using approved marine fuel-system practices. Use compatible marine fuel hose, verify all fittings are sealed correctly, and install a fuel filter on the inlet side where required to help protect the pump from debris. Electrical connections should be secure, properly fused, and routed away from heat, moving parts, and fuel exposure.
