Correct Your Radar Angle on Powerboats
The Scanstrut WDRAD01 is a 4° wedge base designed to tilt your radar radome downward when mounted on a PowerTower. On powerboats that run bow-up at speed, a vertically mounted radar antenna ends up pointing slightly skyward — this wedge corrects that by angling the antenna 4° below horizontal, restoring a true level horizon for accurate radar returns.
A base seal is included to maintain a watertight installation under the radome, so there’s no compromise on weather protection.
