The NGK LKR6E is a laser platinum spark plug designed for Honda and Kawasaki 4-stroke engines. The laser-welded platinum tip on the centre electrode delivers a fine firing point that reduces the voltage required to initiate spark — resulting in more consistent ignition, improved throttle response, and longer service life compared to standard copper plugs.
NGK's triple gasket sealing process eliminates combustion gas leakage past the shell, and the 99% pure alumina silicate insulator provides excellent heat resistance and electrical insulation. Cold-rolled threads protect the cylinder head on installation, and trivalent plating (silver chromate and zinc) provides corrosion resistance in marine and outdoor environments.
