Technical FAQ
- Does this transducer support DownScan or SideScan imaging? No. The P319 is a traditional 50/200 kHz sonar transducer. It does not support StructureScan, DownScan, or SideScan imaging. A separate StructureScan-capable transducer is required for those features.
- What connector does this use? The 000-13915-001 uses Lowrance's 9-pin xSonic connector. If your display has a 7-pin blue legacy port, an adapter cable is required — see the 000-13977-001 adapter or the 000-12571-001 adapter.
- What is the difference between 50 kHz and 200 kHz? 200 kHz provides sharper target detail and separation in shallow water. 50 kHz penetrates deeper and performs better in deep or rough water conditions. The P319 runs both simultaneously on compatible displays.
- Can this be installed on a high-deadrise hull? The P319 is a 0° element design with a maximum rated deadrise of 12°. For hulls with higher deadrise, an angled fairing block or a different transducer model with a built-in deadrise offset is required.
- Is a fairing block included? Fairing blocks are not typically included — confirm with your installation kit requirements and Airmar's documentation for the P319.
