A 20-micron full-flow replacement oil filter element for selected Volvo Penta marine engines equipped with a canister-style (bowl-type) oil filter housing. This is the serviceable internal element that replaces inside the reusable housing — not a spin-on filter. High-efficiency cellulose media traps contaminants before they circulate through the engine's lubrication system.

Replace the filter element at the engine manufacturer's recommended oil-service interval. A loaded element can restrict oil flow and reduce the lubrication system's ability to remove contaminants from engine components.
Installation Notes
Drain or contain engine oil before opening the housing. Remove the old element, clean the housing interior, inspect and replace any O-rings or gaskets as specified in the Volvo Penta service procedure, install the new element, and check for leaks after startup.
