When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace this tab washer if it is bent, cracked, corroded, flattened, missing, or previously folded during propeller installation. Tab washers should be replaced when they no longer lock securely.
Installation Notes
Install in the correct position between the propeller nut and aft thrust washer. After torquing the prop nut to Mercury specifications, bend the locking tab as required to secure the nut. Inspect the prop shaft, thrust washers, nut, and propeller hub during service.
