Minn Kota Raptor 10' Shallow Water Anchor with Active Anchoring – Black
The Minn Kota Raptor 10' is a hydraulic shallow water anchor with Active Anchoring technology that continuously monitors holding force and automatically adjusts when wind, current, or bottom conditions change — keeping the boat securely positioned without repeated manual input. The four-bar articulating arm deploys the spike vertically and retracts it cleanly from mud, sand, and rock.
At 10 feet of anchoring depth, the Raptor 10' covers deeper flats, river channels, and open bays where the 8' model may fall short. Saltwater-tough construction and a lifetime-guaranteed composite spike make it a long-term installation built for demanding conditions.

The 10' gives you 2 feet more anchoring depth than the Raptor 8' (1810620), which matters when you fish deeper flats or areas where bottom depth varies and you want the extra range. The tradeoff is a taller assembly (70" vs. 58") and slightly more transom weight (27.5 lb vs. 24.5 lb) — confirm your transom and mounting arrangement can handle the load and that the taller unit clears your T-top, hardtop, or trailer before ordering. For dual-anchor installations, both units must be Active Anchoring-equipped; mixing Active and non-Active Anchoring Raptors is not supported. Confirm transom clearance and bracket requirements before ordering — boats with jack plates will likely need a jack plate adapter bracket and possibly a jack plate spacer.
