The Faria Chesapeake Black Digital Depth Sounder (FAR 13751) delivers accurate depth readings to 199 feet (61 m), displayed simultaneously in feet, meters, and fathoms. The in-hull transducer mounts inside the hull — no drilling through the bottom required — making for a clean, watertight installation that works well on solid fibreglass hulls.
The Chesapeake Black face with stainless steel bezel is built for saltwater use and integrates cleanly into dark or mixed-colour dash panels. Backlit for clear visibility at night or in low-light conditions.

The in-hull transducer is the best choice for trailered boats, runabouts, and day cruisers with solid fibreglass hulls where a clean install matters and hull penetration isn't desirable. The transducer bonds or sits inside the hull and transmits through the fibreglass — no external hardware, no through-fitting required.
Important: in-hull transducers do not work reliably through foam-cored, wood, or aluminum hulls.
