The em-trak X100 is a fixed-mount marine communication system that combines VHF radio, Class D DSC, and high-power Class B SOTDMA AIS in one integrated unit. It is designed to give boaters voice communication, DSC safety calling, AIS target awareness, and wireless onboard control through the CONNECT-X app. The X100 includes a full-colour 5" display, NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 integration, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and an internal zero-loss VHF antenna splitter so VHF/DSC and AIS can share one suitable VHF antenna.

Before ordering, confirm that the vessel has suitable power, a compatible VHF/AIS antenna setup, proper mounting space, and the required network connections for the intended installation. AIS transmit operation also requires correct vessel programming and MMSI setup according to regional marine-radio requirements.
When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace or upgrade to this unit when the boat needs integrated VHF, DSC, and AIS capability in one fixed-mount system, when an older VHF radio lacks AIS awareness, or when the current radio, AIS transceiver, display, antenna splitter, or wireless control setup no longer meets the vessel’s safety and navigation needs.
Installation Notes
Install the X100 in a protected helm or navigation location with good display visibility and access to the fist mic. Use a quality VHF antenna suitable for the marine VHF and AIS frequency range, with a PL-259 connector for the X100’s SO-239 VHF port. The unit supports 12V or 24V DC systems and includes a 2-metre power/data cable. For best GNSS performance, use the built-in GNSS where the unit has a suitable sky view, or add an external GNSS antenna when the installation location requires it.
