The built-in GPS eliminates the need for a separate GPS feed to the radio for DSC, simplifying installation. NMEA 2000 connectivity allows DSC alerts and position data to be shared across the network to a chartplotter. The RayMic expansion makes it particularly well-suited for twin-helm vessels or boats where a cockpit handset is desired without running a second full radio. Installation Notes: Requires 12V DC power and a VHF antenna with PL-259 connector (sold separately). NMEA 2000 connection requires a backbone drop cable. Optional external GPS antenna connection available for improved GPS reception below decks. RayMic handset sold separately. Hailer function requires an external hailer speaker (sold separately).
