The Martyr CMALPHAKITA is a complete aluminum anode kit designed to replace all sacrificial anodes on MerCruiser Alpha I Generation II stern drives (1991 and newer) used in saltwater and brackish water environments. The kit covers all major anode positions on the drive, including the trim tab, bearing carrier, driveshaft housing, gimbal housing, and trim rams, providing comprehensive galvanic corrosion protection. Fastening hardware is included.
Aluminum is the correct anode material for saltwater and brackish water use, where it outperforms zinc in electrochemical activity and provides more effective galvanic protection. Martyr Anodes are manufactured to OEM-equivalent specifications, making this a trusted replacement for the factory anodes.
