This complete aluminum anode kit is designed specifically for Mercruiser MR and Alpha One Gen I stern drives from 1984 to 1990. It provides full corrosion protection for the drive in saltwater and brackish water environments, replacing all sacrificial anodes in one convenient kit.
All components are cadmium-free and conform to Mil-Spec A-24779(SH), meeting military-grade corrosion protection standards. Aluminum anodes are the correct choice for saltwater and brackish water use, where they outperform zinc in electrochemical activity and provide more effective galvanic protection.
