3M 5200 is the marine industry's benchmark polyurethane adhesive sealant — trusted for permanent, watertight bonds above and below the waterline. The 3 oz. tube format is ideal for targeted repairs, seam sealing, and through-hull fitting installations where a full cartridge would be excessive. Black colour suits dark hull applications, teak decking, and anywhere a neutral or white bead would be visually out of place.

Best Use Case: Reach for 5200 when the bond needs to be permanent — through-hull fittings, deck hardware that will never be removed, and hull-to-deck joints. The 3 oz. tube is the right size for single-use repairs or installations where you don't need a full cartridge. If the customer needs to remove the hardware later, steer them toward 4200 Fast Cure instead — 5200 is extremely difficult to disassemble once cured.
