West System C207SA Special Clear Hardener — 315 ml (10.6 oz.)
The C207SA Special Clear Hardener is engineered for coating applications where an exceptionally clear, glass-like finish is the priority. Formulated to perform in humid conditions where standard hardeners can blush or cloud, it delivers a water-clear result that lets the natural beauty of wood, fibreglass, and composite surfaces show through.
When paired with West System C105A Resin (946 ml / 32 oz.) or the larger West System C105B Resin (3.74 L), this hardener produces a tough, UV-stabilized epoxy film ideal for brightwork, clear coats, and bonding applications where aesthetics matter. Note: UV stabilization extends service life but does not replace a topcoat of quality marine paint or varnish for long-term UV protection.

- Performs reliably in humid conditions, resisting blush and cloudiness

Parts Desk Insights
Best Use Case: Specify the C207SA when a customer needs a clear epoxy coat over bare wood, veneers, or fibreglass — especially in boatbuilding, brightwork restoration, or any project where finish clarity is non-negotiable. It's the go-to choice over the C205 hardener when working in high-humidity environments or when the customer wants to preserve the natural grain of the substrate. Pair with the 300 Mini Pump Set for accurate 5:1 resin-to-hardener metering. Remind customers that a UV-protective topcoat (varnish or marine paint) is still required for exterior applications.
