The Attwood SP66839 is a 6" x 8" base plate for the Attwood Lock-N-Pin pedestal system. It mounts to the boat deck and accepts a compatible Lock-N-Pin post, locking together to prevent unintentional detachment of the pedestal during use. The 6" x 8" footprint sits between the narrow 4" x 8" and the square 7" x 7" options, offering a wider stance than the 4" plate while still fitting in tighter deck layouts where a full square base won’t work.
