Sierra MP41070-2 Marine Ignition Starter Switch – 3-Position Magneto, Compact 5/8", 6-Wire Terminal, Push-to-Choke
The Sierra MP41070-2 is a compact marine ignition starter switch built for magneto ignition engines that use a direct wire-terminal harness connection. The 6-wire terminal layout is the defining feature of this switch — rather than screw posts that accept ring or spade lugs, the wiring harness connects via pre-terminated wires that plug directly into the switch. This makes it the correct fit for specific OEM harness configurations where a screw-terminal switch would not be compatible.
Push-to-choke is included, making it a complete solution for magneto engines that require choke control through the ignition switch. A corrosion-resistant polyester housing with an inner cylinder seal keeps moisture out and prevents shorts in demanding marine environments. The compact 5/8" cylinder diameter and 7/8" mounting hole fit panels designed for the smaller cylinder format. Note: no boot is included.
