The Accutech ZeroTorque® Feedback Rack Steering System eliminates the pull and kick-back at the wheel caused by rudder torque. The patented ZeroTorque® feedback clutch isolates the helm from propeller and water forces, so the wheel stays where you put it — no fighting the helm in a chop, no torque steer under acceleration, no hand fatigue on longer runs.
This 17 ft. cable package is a complete, ready-to-install system with 3.5 turns lock-to-lock, delivering precise, responsive steering with minimal lost motion. The longer cable length suits center consoles, walkarounds, and larger runabouts where the helm-to-engine run exceeds what a 15 or 16 ft. cable can reach.

Cable length is the key spec to get right — measure the actual cable run from helm to engine, add a bit for routing, and choose the closest length. The 17 ft. cable is typically needed on larger center consoles and walkarounds where the helm is positioned further from the engine. If 17 ft. isn't the right fit, this system is also available in 13 ft., 14 ft., 15 ft., 16 ft., and 18 ft. cable lengths. The ZeroTorque® clutch gives you feedback steering feel while blocking the torque that would otherwise kick the wheel — a meaningful upgrade over a standard rack system for boats that generate noticeable steering pull.
