The Uflex UP33TX52 is the top of the standard Uflex tilt helm lineup — combining the highest-output UP33 series hydraulic helm with the X52 tilt mechanism for a 48° adjustable tilt range and five locking positions. It is a direct drop-in replacement for SeaStar® front-mount tilt helms and is fully compatible with Teleflex/SeaStar cylinders, hoses, and oil.
The UP33TX52 is the right choice when you need the maximum steering output of the UP33 series and the ergonomic flexibility of a tilt-adjustable wheel — the most capable combination in the standard Uflex tilt helm range, short of the SilverSteer™ system.

Best Use Case: The UP33TX52 is the right helm when you need the highest steering output available in the standard Uflex tilt helm lineup — typically on the largest single-engine outboard boats, twin-engine applications, or heavy sterndrive setups where the UP28TX52 still feels slow or requires too many turns lock-to-lock, and where the driver also needs tilt adjustment for comfort. It’s the most capable standard tilt helm Uflex offers before stepping into the SilverSteer™ system. As with all X52 tilt helms, confirm the original helm was a tilt unit before ordering — tilt and non-tilt helms are not interchangeable in most dash configurations. The X52 mechanism is not compatible with SilverSteer™ or MasterDrive™ systems. If tilt adjustment isn’t required, the non-tilt UP28FM is a more cost-effective option at similar output.
