The Seachoice 29250 is a 4" motorwell boot made from durable vinyl plastisol — designed to seal the motorwell opening around cables, wiring, and fuel lines, preventing water from entering the boat through the motorwell cutout. A properly fitted motorwell boot keeps the bilge drier, protects wiring and fuel line connections from water exposure, and reduces the risk of water intrusion at one of the most common entry points on outboard-powered boats.

Best Use Case: The 29250 is the correct boot when your motorwell boot is cracked, torn, or missing — a common maintenance item on older outboard boats where the original vinyl boot has hardened and split from UV exposure and age. A missing or damaged motorwell boot allows water to splash into the bilge every time the boat is underway or in rough conditions, which adds up to significant water intrusion over time. The vinyl plastisol material is flexible and durable, but like all vinyl components it will eventually harden with age and UV exposure. Confirm your motorwell opening is 4" before ordering — if your opening is a different size, this boot will not seal correctly.
