The Uflex X52 is the tilt mechanism used in all Uflex TX52 series tilt helms — available here as a standalone unit for retrofitting onto compatible Uflex rotary, rack and pinion, and hydraulic helms that were originally installed without tilt adjustment. The X52 provides a 48° tilt range with five locking positions, allowing the steering wheel angle to be adjusted for driver comfort and ergonomics.
The X52 is the same mechanism built into the UP25TX52, UP28TX52, and UP33TX52 tilt helms. If you are replacing a complete helm, purchasing one of those complete tilt helm units is typically more straightforward than retrofitting the X52 onto an existing helm.
