The Uflex Racktech is a complete rack and pinion steering system designed as a direct replacement for ski boats, power-assisted sterndrives, and other single-station powerboat applications where rudder torque is minimal. The system uses a stainless flat-wrap cable for smooth, low-friction steering with minimal lost motion — delivering a responsive, connected feel at the helm.
At 3.5 turns lock-to-lock, the Racktech offers a balanced ratio suitable for a wide range of outboard and sterndrive applications. This package includes everything needed for a complete installation: a pre-assembled M86 helm with steering cable, G86 shaft assembly, and X34 90° bezel. Compatible as a replacement for most rack and rotary steering applications where rudder torque is low.
