The Uflex UC128TS1P is the port straight-arm version of the Protech front-mount hydraulic steering cylinder — the same heavy-duty cylinder included in the Uflex PROTECH system kits, available here as a standalone unit for replacement or custom system builds. Built with a heavy-duty stainless steel cylinder rod, seals, and a 304 electropolished stainless steel link assembly, the UC128 is engineered to handle the demands of front-mount outboard steering across virtually every two- and four-stroke outboard engine on the market.

Best Use Case: The UC128TS1P is the correct cylinder when your outboard engine’s bracket requires a port-side front-mount cylinder with a straight arm — the mirror image of the more common starboard configuration. Port-side cylinder installations are less common but do occur on certain engine bracket configurations and twin-engine setups. Always confirm your engine’s bracket orientation and arm style before ordering, as port and starboard cylinders are not interchangeable.
