The BEP 1002205 is an 85A continuous duty solenoid built for applications where the circuit stays energized for extended periods. Its PVC-coated steel case adds a layer of protection against moisture and corrosion — making it a solid choice for bilge pump control, livewell systems, anchor windlasses, and other sustained-load marine circuits.
Like all solenoids in this class, it lets you control a high-amperage load from a low-amperage switch or relay signal, keeping heavy wiring out of your helm panel and reducing switch wear over time.
