Best suited for mid-to-large freshwater boats — typically 18–22 ft — where the 45" shaft is too short but the 60" would be excessive. The 52" is the most versatile shaft length in the Ultrex Quest lineup and the right call for most standard bass and walleye boats with moderate bow heights. Always measure bow height above the waterline before confirming shaft length — a general rule is shaft length should be at least 20" more than the bow height.
